i know that maybe i should not just talk about this baby boy and post some other news going on in our lives but really this babe consumes my every thought. so until i get ready again and take another picture of me and my belly this is what you get. these quick weekly updates are more for me then anyone else, i hope these will help with my next pregnancy so when strange things are happening with my body i can look back and remember they aren't that strange after all.

so..

@ 22 weeks.

i still can't shake the morning nausea and throw up sessions.
i feel itchy. is this weird?
i love feeling this baby move.
we thought of a few more names. what do you think? jamisen, this one has been one for the last 22 weeks.  maddux or matix.  jax, jordan loves jaxon but i already have a cousin named jackson, so he loves jax now. beckitt, new as of yesterday. this name game is hard work.
my throat has been feeling much better this week.
my belly is getting so big, i feel like it is as big as my bff amy and she is due in 27 days.  a lady at our favorite lunch place asked us if we were due the same time.  and my m.i.l patted my tummy last night and said "this is going to be a big baby!" so that just tells you i am not exaggerating on how big it really is.
most of the time when jordan tries to feel him move, he stops moving. stink.
his fav. place to kick is my bladder.
i woke up 8 times last night to go pee. jordan growled everytime! :)
i think knox can sense something is going on. he lays his head right on my belly almost everynight.
i don't know who thinks august is never going to come more, me or my mom.
i painted the babies room this week AND we bought a crib! can not wait to set it up.
oh and i am too hot already. this is crazy. i love the summer, like i could live in arizona and have it be 115 degrees everyday, but the last couple days that have been 80 i have wanted to run right back inside. and i got a sun burn from sitting at the park for only 20 minutes. yes i know its going to be a long, HOT summer. i will only be at the pool with matthew if anyone needs me!!

in one week i am headed to st. g. for our annual girls trip. can't wait. maybe ill take a picture or two and write a post about it!

@ 21 weeks.

this cute baby is the size of a spaghetti squash and about 1 lb!
he has his days that he moves and groves like you wouldn't believe and then some on the quieter side.
i don't think i've mentioned this throat issue i have before but it bugs! i feel like i constently have something stuck in my throat and it gags me all day. lovely. the doc says its most likely acid.
from 16- 20 weeks i gained a crazy amount, i am still a little worried about it. hopefully these 4 weeks its considerably less.
i painted the nursery. love it. started looking for funiture.

i am now just a few days over 22 weeks and am looking forward to the next few weeks with lots of plans so this time passes fast!

19 & 20

@ 19 weeks.

i wish we could see him every time we go to the dr.

isn't he the cutest?! i can't even wait to meet him. i think he has his daddy's nose! these pictures give me butterflies and sometimes i find it hard to believe that he is really in my belly and this is what he looks like! i love love love to feel him move inside me. jordan has felt him once, but it seems like when we try and feel him move on the outside he stops moving. little stink! i know that the bigger he gets the easier it will be for jordan to feel!

@ 20 weeks.

here i am @ 20 weeks + a few days!

i never get ready and i ONLY got ready to take this picture. :) i am so excited to be half way there!

this week:

i am feeling him move more and more, and the movements are getting stronger.

its amazing how tired my body gets from doing simple chores.

i probably pee 8 times in one night!

which leads to very interrupted sleep.

someone once told me that you pee so ofter in order to get you ready for no sleep when the baby comes! i totally believe it!

my favorite things to eat are litzas pizza and spaghetti factory! jordan's 2 least faves!

i have been feeling like eating mexican food again. mmm... it once was my favorite !

i still have zits

i gained 7 lbs in 4 weeks. a little depressing. maybe i should cut out the pizza and spaghetti! :)

i am seriously moody. ask jordan!

and i still throw up sometimes.

BUT it is all going to be worth it. i am sure of it!

we are back to the one name we have liked all along and another one that we like equally!

tomorrow i will be 21 weeks.

@18 weeks.

my belly is getting so big! (maybe a picture next week.)

i was extra emtional.

i can FOR SURE feel this little guy move. i can't wait for jordan to get in on this!

my zits... oh my zits.

a little nauseous again. nothing like before.

i think i pee every 30 seconds day and night.

not the best time to remodel our only full bath. i have to walk all the way down stairs to go potty, & all the way to my parents to take a shower.

energy coming back.

and gaining some major weight.

still no name. HELP... i have decided that one name i was leaning towards isn't it.

on friday we go in for our big ultra sound. i am so excited to see how much he has grown.

next update should have lots of pictures. bath remodel. big belly shot. ultra sound pic. yay!

pregnancy update.

i really thought i would be better at updating now that i am pregnant! it still seems that whenever i get on to blog, i blog stalk instead. :)

@ 12 weeks

we found out we are having a BOY!!!! it was so fun to see this baby. it was like he wanted everyone to stop thinking he was a girl. he kept his legs spread the entire time. then people started doubting that it was really a boy since we went to fetal fotos so early so...

@ 15 weeks

we found out it was definitely a boy! this time

however he was doing flips and spins and kept his little hands over his parts. he finally gave in and gave us a peep!

not the best but here is baby boy at 15 weeks!

i am now 17 weeks.

starting to finally feel better. i haven't throw

n up in a few days! a record since about 7 weeks.

my belly is ever growing.

sometimes i feel like i feel baby b move. then think maybe its just some bubbles!

still can't decide on a name. i have liked one name out of the 100,000 that i have looked at/ heard, but can't say that its THE name.

i have been getting lots of zits on my forehead and chest.

my face is red and sometimes spotty. not the prettiest... still waiting for that pregnancy glow!!

can't wait to meet this boy!

so...

...we are having a baby!! we are so excited! baby bowden will be here around august 25th. we have been to the doctor twice and have seen the babe and its heartbeat both times.

we can't wait to find out if its a boy or girl. i have mixed feelings. somedays i think its a girl and other a boy. we will be happy either way! we are so grateful to be pregnant and are looking forward to august!

merry christmas and happy new year

christmas was good this year. different, but good. my parents spent christmas with my brother in california, it just wasn't the same!

we did have tons of parties/activities, i was awful at taking pictures.

2. christmas morning breakfast @ our house.

my dad usually makes breakfast christmas morning and since he wasn't here i thought i would make it and invite the bowden's over. i made eggs, potatoes and chili verde.. yummy but not the same as when my dad makes it!

we had my family over to our house when they came home from cali. loved having them home to celebrate!

6. new years.

me and jordan went to dinner and over to a friends house. very low key but fun. i fell asleep at 10 but woke up just in time to give my boy a kiss!

i hope everyone has had a great start to the new year! we have! i don't usually set/write down any resolutions because like most they are the same every year (lose weight etc.) and i never end up really following through the whole year. but this year i would like to work on :

1. cooking more. (ha... hasn't happened yet but maybe next month.)

2. reading more, at least 4 books this year. (im not a reader so this is a lot!)

3. doing the dishes before bed at night.

4. do some sort of service once a month.

5. be happy. not that i am not happy. but sometimes i think... if only i could get this done or do this or be skinnier or ya know?? i want to be more happy and have a better attitude all of the time, because life is short.
